The Price List tab allows you to define the selling prices of an item according to several combinable criteria, such as the price list, packaging, currency, and VAT. A standard price list is automatically created when an item is saved.

1. Open the Articles menu > Articles .
2. Double-click on the relevant item to open its details page.
3. Click on the Price List tab.
   
   
   

Columns available in the price list grid:

1. Price list : the list to which this price belongs.
   
2. Status : automatically populated according to the selected list.
   
3. Valid from : start date of validity of the list (if limited in time). Automatically populated.
   
4. Valid until : the list's expiry date (if time-limited). Automatically populated.
   
5. Packaging : packaging to which this price applies.
   
6. Quantity : quantity of packaging concerned by this line.
   
7. Number of basic units per packaging : calculated automatically according to the packaging.
   
8. Total number of basic units : calculated automatically (quantity × basic units per packaging).
   
9. Total price : total price for the quantity entered.
10. Packaging price : price for one package.
11. Unit price : price for one basic unit.
    
12. Currency : applicable currency.
    
13. VAT : VAT included or VAT excluded .
    

4. Click on + at the bottom left of the list to add a new line.
5. In the added line, fill in the following editable fields:
   
   
   

7. Select the value from the Price List field.
   The Status , Valid from, and Valid until columns are automatically populated.
8. Choose the packaging to which the price applies.
9. Enter the quantity of packages.
10. Enter a value in one of the following fields: Packaging price , Total price or Unit price .
    The other two values are calculated automatically.
11. Select the applicable currency .
    To add a currency not in the list, click the […] button to the right of the field.
12. Choose the value for the VAT field: VAT included or VAT excluded .
13. To add an additional row, click + again or press the ↓ key from the last cell.
14. Click OK to save the changes to the product record.

The configured price lines are available when entering sales documents. The automatically suggested price corresponds to the first line of the Standard Price List for the item's default packaging.

• The columns Status , Valid from , Valid until , Number of base units per packaging and Total number of base units are automatically populated and are read-only.
• The Packaging Price , Total Price , and Unit Price fields are linked. Entering a value in one of these fields automatically recalculates the other two.
• To select a packaging option from this list, it must first be created in the Units and Packaging tab of the item record.
• The standard price list cannot be deleted.
• The validity dates and status of a price list cannot be modified directly from the product page.
